1. What does ALOV stand for?

3. Is this a binding contract?

NO. If and when the time comes to sign a lease, and you choose not to, that is your decision.
4. Is there a size or acreage limit?

NO. Any lot size or acreage is accepted.
5. If I have more than one parcel, what do I pay?

You pay $80 for 1 or 100 parcels.

6. What is the $80 fee used for?
-
The fee is used for mailings, office supplies, meeting costs, attorney fees, staffing, and lease negotiations.
When everything is paid for, any balance will be donated to local area food banks, veterans, and children's organizations.
7. What is the disclosure sheet?

It is a form that is required by Ohio Law. We were required to become registered Landmen with the state of Ohio, even though we, ourselves, are landowners.
8. Why are we "for profit"?
-
A lot of time, effort, and personal sacrifice goes into the development, research, and daily tasks for maintaining the group. We are striving to do our best for the community.
9. Are we holding informational meetings?

Yes, we are. Any meeting announcements will be posted on the home page. If you would like to have one of our representatives present to your group, please contact us.
10. Who is Harry Samuels?
-
Harry was born and raised in Trumbull County and is a graduate of Joseph Badger High School. He has owned and operated is own fence company for almost 15 years. He was a member of the Gustavus Volunteer Fire Department where he served as fire chief for two years. He lived in Virginia for a short time before moving back to Ohio. He currently works at Great Lakes Cheese Factory.
11. Who else is involved in ALOV?

There are a few other landowners who are involved and are registered landman.
12. When is the deadline to register?

Our goal is to have everyone registered with our group by December 2025.
13. When will we sign a lease?
-
Bid packets will start to be developed for the drillers at the beginning of the year, 2026. Our goal is to negotiate toward the end of winter/early spring and hope to be signing leases in the summer/fall of 2026.
